Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes, once a year in May. We serve the Richmond area, Williamsburg, Loudoun County, Charlottesville, and surrounding counties. If you have 50 or more blankets and are outside our standard service area, reach out and we can discuss options. Sign up for the 2026 pickup route here.Can I just drop blankets off?
Yes. Drop-off and pickup are available 24/7 at our shop at 7925 Cogbill Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832. The shop is separate from the house on the property. You will see the difference when you arrive.Do my blankets need to be dry before drop-off?
Yes. Blankets sit in storage for weeks or months before we open them. Wet blankets will mold in that time and become unsafe to handle. Please do not send wet blankets.How do I drop off?
Bag your blankets in large black trash bags, fill out a service ticket for each bag with up to six blankets per ticket, place the ticket inside the bag, and drop everything in the large bin to the right of the garage door. Full instructions and the service ticket are on our service ticket page.Do I need to list every blanket?
Yes, every blanket must be listed on a service ticket. It is the one document that links you to your order through our entire process.

How long does it take?
Pickup and delivery clients receive blankets back by end of September. Direct drop-offs at the shop are 5 to 7 business days in winter. Summer turnaround varies as drop-offs are worked in between the seasonal pickup program. If you need blankets back before October and are blanketing early, drop off before July.Can I get a blanket back urgently?
For pickup program clients this is difficult as blankets may already be in storage. For direct drop-offs we have more flexibility. Email us and we will do our best.

What do you clean?
Horse blankets of all types, saddle pads, fly sheets, girths, wool coolers, fly masks, and shipping boots. Wool coolers are air dried. We do not clean leather or tack.What do you repair?
Hardware including snaphooks, surcingles, leg straps, and chest straps. Fabric tears and patches on blankets in otherwise good shape. Large single tears in the liner or outer fabric. We do not do leather repair. See our repairs page for full detail on how to tell us what you want done.Do you waterproof?
Yes. We apply a professional DWR treatment that causes water to bead and roll off the fabric. Blankets must be washed before waterproofing so if you request both services the laundering charge applies as well. See our waterproofing page for more detail.What comes back to me?
Clean, fully dried blankets heat sealed in plastic, labeled with your name and barn, and ready for storage.

How do I pay?
We invoice through QuickBooks. You will receive your invoice by email when your blankets are finished. Pay online by credit card, debit card, electronic transfer, or by check. We do not accept cash or Venmo.When is payment due?
Upon receipt of invoice. For pickup and delivery clients, payment must be received at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date or blankets will be held at the shop.Is there a late fee?
Yes, after 30 days of nonpayment.How long do I have to pick up my blankets?
30 days from the invoice date. Blankets unclaimed more than 60 days past that deadline may be donated or disposed of.
